Course Overview

Introduction

As we all know, Pension is a post-employment benefit as well as a form of social security that caters for a certain class of citizens of any nation that have offered the productive part of their lives in paid employment.

It is also imperative to understand that the pension industry in Nigeria is faced with different challenges bordering from administrative issues to general issues.

Due to the beneficial nature of every pension scheme, it is bothersome to be faced with certain challenges as these challenges may truncate the progress of the pension scheme which would eventually mar the entire purpose.

It has been said that to solve a problem in any industry, one should focus on the most powerful sector. The Association of Pension Desk Practitioners of Nigeria is a key player in the progress and stability of the industry. It therefore means that if Pension Desk Officers faces certain challenges, it will automatically have an effect on the industry as a whole.
